Talladega Superspeedway ( Talladega,Al.) hosted the Geico 500, the last race in the Contender round. Known as the fastest speedway on earth, Talladega is always a challenging track. This 2.66 mile tir-oval will see speeds of 200 mph + .

Several drivers are in trouble of not making the Chase. Brad Keselowski , Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. are on the cut-off line and need strong finishes to save their season. The pit window is 40 -45 laps for this 188 lap , 500 mile race.

Brad Keselowski wins the Geico 500 from Talladega Superspeedway. Jimmie Johnson , Dale Earnhardt Jr. , Kasey Kahne and Kyle Busch are eliminatwed. The Eliminator round starts next week at Martinsville,Sunday , October 26th,1:30 pm on ESPN.  Four drivers will move on to the Championship race after the 3 Eliminator round races. The points reset for the Eliminator round. The 00krew will have more coverage next week . Buckle Up and Hang On!!!
