Bourbon is quickly making it’s way to the 2nd most popular non-beer alcohol in the U.S. The 00krew decided to see what bourbon’s were the best. In this round of testing we chose: Labrot & Graham’s Woodford Reserve , Bulleit Bourbon and Knob Creek’s small batch 9yr. After two grueling days of testing, and a hell of a hangover, here are our findings: All testing was done with each bourbon sampled on the rocks.
Labrot & Graham’s Woodford Reserve – Very strong bourbon smell, quick throat burn and belly burn, medium color , overall not a bad taste.
Bulleit Bourbon – Not as strong aroma as the Woodford , throat burn, very little belly burn, medium in color. good flavor.
Knob Creek small batch 9yr. – Strong aroma, throat burn, slight belly burn that quickly goes away. A little darker in color than the other two. Good barrel taste.
AND THE WINNER IS : The 00krew picks Bulleit Bourbon as the best of the bunch.
check us out in the future, as the 00krew will have more spirits reviews.
